What is Mural Link?

Mural Link is Mural Health’s leading product. It is a participant management platform used in your trial to manage your overall experience, including payments, travel, and communication with the trial care team.

What are my payment options?

To provide participants with maximal optionality, Mural Link offers 10+ payment options, with at least 2 payment options in each country of operation. Payment options include Venmo, Paypal, Revolut, Zelle, direct to debit card, direct to your bank account, virtual prepaid card, physical prepaid card, or check via mail. All payment methods are fee-free.

How do I set up my payment methods?

There are two ways to set up your preferred payment method. Once you join a trial that offers Mural Link, you will be given the option to manage your payments directly, or have the research site set up payments for you.

Payment method managed by you: If you want to manage your payment method directly, you can use the Mural Link app, which is highly intuitive and user friendly. The Mural Link app can be downloaded from the Google Play or Apple App stores, or accessed via the web: https://app.murallink.com/. You will receive an email and/or text message (if you’ve opted in) from Mural Link when a payment is ready to be claimed!

Payment method managed by your site: Your site coordinator will input all of the required information for you to receive funds. Once a payment is issued, you will receive an email and/or text message (if you’ve opted in) from Mural Link so you know the funds are on the way!

Where can I download the Mural Link app?

You can download the app on the App Store or the Google Play Store. You can also access via the website, https://app.murallink.com/.

Are there any fees for using Mural Link?

Using the Mural Link app is 100% fee-free. ​By receiving your payments directly to your existing accounts (bank/credit/debit/digital), or by a prepaid physical card, prepaid virtual cards, or check, you will not have to pay ATM fees, idle fees, replacement card fees, monthly or balance removal fees.

How long does it take to implement Mural Link?

Mural Link has been designed to support a streamlined implementation within 2-3 weeks from kickoff. This is a >60% improvement from other technologies.

What are micro incentive payments?

Micro incentive payments are payments that you can set up following events (such as participants filling out ePRO) to encourage continued participation in the trial as well as provision of feedback. These can be set up to automatically trigger after a patient has completed a specific task.

What security features does the Mural Link app have?

Stored data is fully encrypted in motion and while at rest. All data is stored in the country in which the participant’s site is located to automatically comply with local data privacy regulations.

What payment methods are available to participants?

Your participants have a choice to be paid via Venmo, Paypal, Revolut, Zelle, direct to debit card, direct to your bank account, virtual prepaid card, physical prepaid card, or check via mail, or direct to your bank account. All payment methods are fee-free.

How is patient data stored?

Data is fully encrypted and stored in the country in which the patient’s site is located to automatically comply with local data privacy regulations. Mural Health complies with all relevant privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and MR001.

How long does it take for a payment to be processed?

Processing time varies, depending on the participant’s selected payment method. They will receive information on the average processing time for each payment method as part of their trial registration. Digital payments can process instantaneously, while physical check payments take longer.
